Every where I go, I get
this question,
“Do teens today seem angrier today than they used to?”
And I would have to answer yes to that. I’ve worked
with high-risk youth for over twenty-five years now, and I
not only see teens getting angrier; I see them getting angrier
over non-consequential things. The other
noticeable change I have seen involves the escalation time.
I’m dealing with more youth who have s smaller window
of escalation. That means the time between the youth showing
signs of and the actual act of anger can escalate very quickly.
Another question I
get frequently is what is making youth so angry today? |
